WELCOME TO THE
2008 NEVADA
ORGANIZATION OF NURSE LEADERS
ANNUAL CONFERENCE
Our venders have
helped make this conference possible. We ask that you visit each booth and
spend time with the venders.
In attempts to be more
earth-friendly, NONL invites you to access the speakers’ power point
presentations by going to the flash drive that was included in your attendee’s
bags. Paper for note taking is
provided.
Evaluations are
available for each day to evaluate the speakers’ content, style, and value to
you in your role. We need your input. We are also interested in written
feedback for all ratings of a 3 or less.
We ask you to remain
in your seat throughout the sessions. We have several breaks planned
throughout the day and there should be plenty of time to use the restroom
during the planned breaks. We ask this because it can be very distracting to
have people exiting and entering the room during the presentation.
Please arrive to
sessions and return from breaks on time.
Please place all
phones, Blackberries, and pagers on silence. If you must answer one, please
wait until you are outside of the conference room to answer.
We encourage you to participate in all discussions and exercise.
Green Initiatives (next year we will do better)
In our effort to reduce the environmental impact of the NONL Conference, you may notice the following changes:
• All meeting space will have water stations (not water bottles)
• Attendees will be given a jump drive, preloaded with all meeting materials.
There will be minimal paper handouts...• Tote bags will be distributed to attendees at registration.
• Reusable water bottles will be distributed to each attendee
